Still life compositions. My wife sculpts these heads for dolls that she makes. I saw them sitting on her drying rack and decided to build a photo enclosure and try some arrangements. Over several days I made many different compositions and added props. Still life photography is a good teacher of depth of field and exposure techniques. The heads are about the size of a golf ball. I used a wide angle lens with the camera about three or four inches from the heads. As artwork, these photographs contain a signature.
